How big is the love of Jesus Christ?
How much does Jesus Christ want us all healed and whole?
I do not think we fully understand this kind of love yet? Because understanding GOD’s love for us and how much HE wants us to be healed and whole would be like drinking all the ocean’s waters in one gulp.
For today, as I ponder about believing for the healing of my eyes, I have floaters that are there because the world says I am getting old, I ask the question: Doesn’t the blood of Jesus Christ heal and make whole, even floaters? Or do I just accept this kind of corruptness in my life?
I know several scriptures that say: JESUS paid the cost for all sin, sickness and poverty. So my healing and my prosperity had been bought and paid for with HIS precious blood. I know all I have to do is accept Jesus as my healer.
Yet many in the church are still sick and in pain. Why?
I think one answer to my question lies here in Luke 5:19 when men tore roof tiles so they could lower their sick friend to Jesus. It is written that of many people there that day, this man was the only one healed.
But what if several people came to Jesus later and they received healing? John 21:25 The world could not hold the books written all that Jesus did.
Therefore, if you are in church or a meeting and do not go down front for your healing because you are amazed or not quite sure about healing or you are afraid to walk down front – when you are ready- Jesus Christ is waiting patiently for you. Jesus paid for your healing and wants you to have your healing. Just come to Him, He loves you.
How do I know this? Personal experience. I used to get poison ivy once in a while because my outdoor cats would go into the woods and when I petted them, I would get this annoying itch. I learned in church at the age of 15 that I did not have to put up with any sickness. I stood in my front yard and pointed at the woods and said: “Poison Ivy, you are an evil plant. You will never get on me again.” My cats still entered the woods and I would pet them but I have never had that stupid itch on my body again. I am now 62.
Jesus is my healer and protector.
HE is yours too.
1 Peter 2:24 By His stripes, (the beating Jesus received so we could be well) we are healed. Just come to Jesus, believe and receive right now. No matter where you are: your backyard, in the store, washing dishes…….. Just receive.
